Top zipper closure as well as a huge over-flap to keep things secure and dry. The outside has multiple zippered pockets, two clasped pockets and a convenient magazine pocket with magnet closure.  Inside is our traditional cotton lining. Carry as a backpack or remove the detachable shoulder straps and carry from another detachable top strap.
